BMW has teased their new production-intent BMW i4 electric car and, honestly, it looks great. Keyboard warriors have cracked fingernails trying to come up with the best insults for the new M3 and M4, but the snouty kidney grilles seem to work here. Not to mention, the promised 366-mile range (on the WLTP standard) and 530 horsepower are nothing to sneeze at and… I’m just going to avoid the easy joke.
The BMW i4 is set to be e fully electric car with “best in class driving dynamics” and 300-mile EPA range, which puts it firmly in the Model 3 space (although, size-wise, it’s more like a 4-series and thus likely a bit larger). The brand promises to release the car this year and offered up that an M Performance model will be included and that the line-topping version should make it to 60 mph in just four seconds.
That’s about all we know, so let’s do what we do when BMW puts out a new car and debate whether we think it looks good or not.
